Understanding Waqf
إِذَا مَاتَ الْإِنسَانُ انْقَطَعَ عَنْهُ عَمَلُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ: صَدَقَةٌ جَارِيَةٌ

Anas Bin Malik Islamic Centre is dedicated to promoting Islamic values and supporting the Ummah through educational, charitable, and social initiatives. With the approval of the Board of Trustees, the Management has established a Waqf fund to ensure the sustainability and growth of the Centre’s programmes.
How a Waqf contribution works

You contribute
You donate any amount to a named Waqf project. The contribution is recorded in your name as a Sadaqah Jariyah — a continuous charity.

The principal is preserved
Your contribution is pooled with others and invested in Shari'ah-compliant instruments. The principal itself is never spent.

Returns fund the purpose
Annual returns from the investment are used exclusively for the stated purpose — mosque running costs, teacher salaries, scholarships.

Reward continues
As long as the endowment is active and the community benefits, your reward accumulates — even long after your passing.
Why support the Waqf Fund
Supporting the Waqf Fund aligns with the Islamic doctrine of Sadaqatul Jariyah, offering continuous reward in this life and the hereafter. Your support also directly benefits the community, improving quality of life and helping foster a strong, united Ummah.
Management
The Waqf Fund will be managed by a Board of Trustees (Mutawallis), guided by renowned Shariah Advisers to ensure that all supported activities comply with Islamic principles. Regular financial and audit reports will be provided to contributors.

Visit the office of the Chief Imam at Anas Bn Malik Islamic Centre Masjid, AMSSCO Platinum City Estate, Galadimawa, Abuja.
Support the Waqf Fund through donations of real estate.
Consider leaving the Waqf Fund in your will.
